It was at the very beginning of our brain tumor journey - couldn't have been more than a few months after Marc had his first brain surgery back in the summer of '03. I'd heard the song before, but I didn't know it well. And then someone (wish I could remember who!!) stepped onto the pulpit that Sunday morning to do "special music." I still can't listen to this song without choking up. And, in case you haven't guessed, it has become a favorite. I'm guessing most of you have heard it - but listen to the words - and pray for your friends who are struggling.

Oh Joanne, I never heard of this song before but just listened to it! It ministered to me today when I need it most. I got up early determined to make the most of this day and try to combat some of my fears of being in a strange place. It was perfect!!
I can't say that I have heard this song but it is beautiful. I rarely know the names of songs but I love the words of this song. It says when my heart is overwhelm, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.
I've had many different songs over the years that helped me in difficult times in my life. However, a new song that recently has been saying what my soul feels is, "Here" by Kari Jobe:

Late last night I found myself listening to "Desert Song" by Hillsong yet again. Another one that reminds us we are overcomers!
