Be of good cheer. Do not think of today's failures, but of success that may come tomorrow. You have set yourselves a difficult task, but you will succeed if you persevere; and you will have a joy in overcoming obstacles—a delight in climbing rugged paths which you would perhaps never know if you did not sometimes slip backward, if the road were always smooth and pleasant. Remember, no effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost. —Helen Keller.

Turning It Off

I'm over at the Internet Cafe' today, talking about some of the distractions I had to deal with when I was trying to write my novel last month - and how the most significant one was more spiritual than anything. Hope you'll stop by and check out my post "Turn It Off."

Yet, though I'm there, I'm not - really. Why? It's that time again - and I'm VERY glad. (and what an appropriate title for my cafe post, eh?)

Yup - the first Tuesday of the month is my monthly tech fast - no computer and no texting. I'll be having a date morning with my hubby, and will probably do some cleaning (our pantry is kinda scary at the moment). If you're thinking about a break from that computer of yours, I REALLY cannot recommend it more highly. It has done WONDERS for me.

See ya on Wednesday!
