Sheltering Protection - Word-Filled Wednesday

Welcome to my contribution to Word-Filled Wednesday, hosted this week by the lovely Christy at Critty Joy. Be sure to stop by her blog for more visual inspiration from Scripture.

This isn't the EXACT picture I wanted for this verse, but it works. I love how unafraid these children look. If only we could feel this way when we are in the midst of "rough seas." And we should--because of Who is beside us.

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. Psalm 57:1 NIV

  1. Taking refuge in the shadow of HIS wings,

  2. I am so thankful He is our refuge. Beautiful verse and lovely graphic.

    Happy WFW!

  3. I love this, Jo. Wouldn't it be wonderful to fully trust like a child?

When I was a little girl, my great-grandmother had a similar picture. The guardian angel was watching over a little boy and girl crossing a bridge. Good memories - great message.

  8. Beautiful, Jo. I'm taking refuge with you.

  9. Joan,

The picture is just priceless. I really does go. We are God's children and He is faithful to watch over and protect us.
