Over the Years

Sometimes it feels like forever.

Other times, it's like we just met.

Of course, in eternal time, it's the snap of His fingers.

But if you look at all we've been through together - half a dozen moves (not too many, actually, eh?), four brain surgeries, two births, four cats, raising two kids (yeah - still working on this one), disability, chemotherapy, radiation, finding Christ, loss of family members, jobs, and other things too numerous (and possibly unimportant) to mention - there's no doubt it's been an eventful, wild ride.

But every moment has been special. A gift from God. And He has always been there for us. And, thank the Lord, we have been there for each other.

Nineteen years ago today, he asked.

One year later - to the day, we did.

And I'd do it - ALL of it, over again.
