Finds for Friday (the Inaugural Edition!)

Those of you who know me know that I LOVE to encourage. And one of the places I find some of the best encouragement is through other people's blog posts. I get amazing joy out of reading other folks' posts on the many blogs I follow. And I love to comment, though I'll admit I don't do it as much as I'd like.

Well, the other day I got to thinking: why not share these blessings? Sure, I could email you individually, or post a link on Twitter or FaceBook, but those places are stuffed with that kind of stuff.

So, instead I've decided to create "Finds for Friday." Throughout the week, I'll be noting and "setting aside" some posts that especially spoke to me for whatever reason. And each Friday that I am able, I'll share them with you. I hope you'll stop by and read the posts, and maybe even follow the blogs if you aren't already. A win-win, right?

Anyhow, without further ado (and that was a LOT of ado, wasn't it?), here are just a handful of the posts that blessed me this week.

Where's The Sugar? by Alisa Hope Wagner at Faith Imagined (about obedience and the Holy Spirit)

The Grass Is Not Greener by Mari LaVell at A Mari Heart (about following the Shepherd)

Writers Write...Period! by Terry Burns at Cowboy Musing (about how to be a "significantly published author.")

If Not For Grace... by Holley Gerth at Heart to Heart with Holley (about God-sized dreams)

His Yoke by Heather Cox at Internet Cafe' Devotions (about burdens)

Hope you take the time to stop by these wonderful blog posts at these folks' wonderful blogs. The encouragement, I'm sure, will be mutual.
